Levelsensing in hot and challenging environments

Measuring the level through a lid in a steam generator is extremelly challenging. The metal heating coils are very reflective, the lime stone is changing the reflection over time and the hot steam surface is a diffuse target. With some advanced algorithms it was possible to detect the lime, and an accurate level measurement over level range. It is also possible to get information from the steamlayer ontop of the boiling water.
